John Nemerofsky, President

For nearly two decades John Nemerofsky has been a leader in the security industry. He is nationally recognized for building world class sales and marketing teams that deliver measurable results. Mr Nemerofsky has utilized his strategic planning and communications skills to organize and execute a wide variety of business plans focusing on maximizing human capital.

Prior to founding TSS International, Mr Nemerofsky was Co-Founder/President of Security Services and Technologies, an international company serving the diverse security needs of Fortune 500 companies. He spearheaded and implemented a strategic plan of international expansion; recruited, hired, trained and supervised productive teams in sales, service, engineering, project management and installation. Through strong leadership and a results-driven focus, John was instrumental in surpassing all established revenue and profit goals.

Mr. Nemerofsky launched TSS International with a vision of identifying current and future leaders in the security industry and matching them with organizations that are likely to benefit from their unique strengths.

He has a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Temple University.
Samuel Vinicur

Samuel Vinicur, Vice President

Sam Vinicur brings more than two decades of security and process-improvement expertise to TSS International. The son of a Philadelphia police officer, he entered the private security sector in 1985, learning every aspect of the industry: from managing security systems and personnel to business administration and development. In 1998, he branched into the product lifecycle management market, working with such leaders as General Dynamics and United Technologies. Mr. Vinicur translated complex technical features into bottom-line corporate benefits through every stage of the process. When he returned to the security industry in 2003, Mr. Vinicur’s experience in product lifecycle management added a new level of value to his service, a unique dimension that continues to serve him well at TSS International.

Mr. Vinicur approaches organizational challenges by breaking them down and solving each piece of the puzzle. TSS International clients rely on him to help create action plans to achieve organizational design, cultural alignment and leadership development. He then draws on his extensive network to execute those programs, balancing the needs of the organization with the needs of the individuals.

Mr. Vinicur holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Temple University in Philadelphia and studied law at the Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. A member of ASIS International, he serves as program and membership chair of the Philadelphia chapter.

David Cullen

David Cullen, Vice President

During his 20-year career, David Cullen has established himself as a security leader within the security industry. Starting his career in 1986 as a co-op student at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), David has held key positions in several prestigious corporations. His experience uniquely included sales, operations, corporate investigations, security system design and strategic management.

Currently, David is a Vice President and Partner in TSS International. TSS International specializes in retained searches for security executives, consulting, compensation planning, organization design and cultural alignment.

A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, David participates in several professional and community organizations. He is currently the Assistant Regional Vice President of Training for ASIS International (formerly American Society for Industrial Security) for New England and New York Chapters. Previously, David held the position of Senior Regional Vice President, overseeing chapters in New England and New York. He has held many volunteer leadership positions within ASIS International, ranging from local chapter activities to Regional Vice President and Co-Chair to the Commission on Chapters.

David has also been involved with HTCIA (High Technology Crime Investigations Association), IFMA (International Facilities Management Association), BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), as well as, local Chamber of Commerce groups.
About Joe Herbster

Joseph Herbster, Senior Consultant

Joseph Herbster, PSP, has enjoyed a 20+ year career in the security industry and has worked hard to build his reputation as a technical expert with a 360° view of technology, engineering, service, and sales.

In 2006, Mr. Herbster handled the integration of a state of the art security system for a 500,000 square foot facility of a leading mortgage provider. Under his direction, five separate Pennsylvania-based buildings with 2,000 employees came together under one roof with the most sophisticated and technically advanced security available.

Mr. Herbster’s intense focus on technology and desire to learn how things work has been at the core of his continual advancement. In the early 90’s he moved from a Master Locksmith role into a technical position, in charge of programming and installation of electronic control systems and related hardware for the Philadelphia based office of a national security company. From there he began supporting sales as an Applications Engineer for a top security systems integration company. In 2004, he developed expertise in sales and service as a National Account Manager where he consistently surpassed the $6M annual sales quotas and won several outstanding achievement awards.

Mr. Herbster’s diverse talents and understanding of the security industry from the end-user, sales, and technical sides are now leveraged collectively in his role as Senior Consultant for TSS International.

Mr. Herbster earned his ASIS International Physical Security Professional certification in 2005 and is an active member of ASIS, Security Xchange, and Boma. He served in the United States Air Force as a B-52 Crew Chief and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in April of 1985. He comes from a family of security providers and credits both his military experience and his familial influence for his success in the security industry.
